The 3M Littmann Classic III Monitoring Stethoscope builds on decades of clinical trust with a major redesign. The precision-machined chestpiece features dual tunable diaphragms — light pressure for low frequency sounds, firmer pressure for higher frequencies — on both adult and paediatric sides. The paediatric side converts to a traditional open bell with the supplied non-chill rim. Next-generation satin-finish tubing is softer, more flexible, and resists sticking to hair or clothing, while its specially-formulated coating improves cleanability and resists scratches and stains. Larger-diameter ear tubes and a thicker single-lumen binaural transfer sound more effectively. Snap-tight soft-sealing eartips create an excellent acoustic seal. Made in the USA with no natural rubber latex or phthalate plasticisers. Available with optional laser engraving for personalisation.
